Is AdNeutral really free?
Yes. The free plan blocks AI ads on the top 5 platforms - ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude, and Perplexity - with no signup required. Core blocking will always be free. We believe everyone should have access to ad-free AI, regardless of budget.
Can I cancel Pro at any time?
Yes. Cancel any time from your account dashboard. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period - there's no prorating for cancellations mid-period. No questions asked, no retention flow. Just a single button.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal for all subscriptions. Additional payment methods including credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and crypto are coming soon. AdNeutral never stores or sees your payment details.
Is there a free trial for Pro?
Yes - 14 days free, no credit card required. You get full Pro access immediately. After the trial, you'll be prompted to add a payment method or automatically downgraded back to the free plan. Nothing is deleted or locked - your custom rules are preserved.
What happens to my custom rules if I downgrade from Pro?
Your rules are stored in full. The first 3 remain active on the free plan. Rules 4 and above are preserved but deactivated until you re-upgrade. Nothing is ever deleted - we hold them for 12 months after a downgrade.
Does AdNeutral collect any data about what I block?
No browsing data, AI conversation content, or filter match data is collected or transmitted. The blocking statistics dashboard (Pro) is computed and stored locally in your browser. We collect only the minimum account data required to operate the subscription - email address and payment reference from PayPal. See our Privacy Policy.
Is AdNeutral open source?
Yes. The browser extension is fully open source under the MIT licence on . The filter rule lists are also public. You can inspect exactly what AdNeutral blocks - nothing is hidden.
